The Learn to Ski/Snowboard Programs are a great source of pride at Donner Ski Ranch. The easygoing atmosphere, well-groomed runs, and experienced PSIA Certified Mountain Sports School staff makes for an outstanding learning environment. Learning packages include an unrestricted all day lift ticket, any level 1-1/2 hour lesson, and up-to-date rental equipment, all at very competitive prices. Donner Ski Ranch also offers group pricing for your club, church, or school. Minimum group number is twenty paid lift tickets to qualify for discounted rates. It is easy to get to Donner Ski Ranch from the San Francisco, Sacramento, and the Reno areas. Donner Ski Ranch is conveniently located just 3.5 miles off all weather Interstate 80 at the Soda Springs/Norden Exit and is one of the closest ski areas to both Sacramento and Reno. Additionally, Donner Ski Ranch features an easy access day lodge and user-friendly, slope-side parking. Lift operation is from 9 am to 4 pm daily with the retail/repair shop, ticket sales, and cafeteria opening at 8 am.
