OAKLAND RAIDER???
On Saturday, January 11th, come to the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area lodge and watch the game with former Oakland Raider and Super Bowl Champion Mario Celotto and a special guest. Mario will be available for pictures and to sign autographs from noon to 1:00pm and from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
If you cannot make it to the Downhill Ski Area that afternoon, stop by the Clubhouse Bar and Grill later that evening where he will again be available for pictures and autographs at 7:30pm.
And if all of that was not enough, we will also be offering specials on the award winning Humboldt Brewing Company Ales throughout the day and evening.

PRESIDENT’S WEEK GIVEAWAYS…
In celebration of President’s Day, the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area will hold its President’s Week Giveaways on Tuesday, February 18 through Thursday, February 20. For each of those days, Tahoe Donner will giveaway a pair of Dynastar Skis and an Original Sin Snowboard. Additional prizes will also be available. Participants need only to fill out an entry form to participate. You must be present and have valid identification to win.

8TH ANNUAL CHILDREN’S GLOW-STICK
PARADE…
Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area will be hosting the 8th Annual Children’s Glow-Stick Parade on Wednesday, February 19th. This event is open to all children ages 10 and under who can ski or ride in the dark unassisted on our beginner hill. With guidance from Tahoe Donner ski instructors, children will lead themselves skiing or riding in chain-like formations with glow sticks of various colors down our Snowbird Run. Families and friends will be able to watch the magnificent show while enjoying free snacks and a live DJ from the lodge. Come join us for an event that is becoming a Tahoe favorite. Registration will begin at 5:00 pm in the cafeteria, children will meet at the bottom of the Snowbird Double Chairlift at 6:30 pm, and the event will kick off at 7:00 pm.

1ST ANNUAL TAHOE DONNER WINTER BEACH PARTY…
It may be chilly, but we will be wearing our grass skirts on Sunday, March 9th, for our 1st Annual Winter Beach Party. Come join us and enjoy the festivities, as the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Hill will become one large beach party. There will be live music, games, and a variety of traditional Hawaiian fare available at our snack bar. There will also be Mai Tais available at the bar. The party begins at noon.

ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, GO…
On Sunday, March 23rd, racers of all abilities will be able to compete against each other in the Annual Roger Mead Matched Time Race. Beginning at 11:00 am, each racer will have two timed runs. The racer with the most consistent time between the two runs wins. Medals will be rewarded to the winners. This is an excellent opportunity to start your racing career or to challenge your friends and family to some racing fun.

9TH ANNUAL TAHOE DONNER
200 FT. BANANA SPLIT & EATING EXTRAVAGANZA…
With an unlikely combination of ice cream and skiing, the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area will continue its tradition of building and devouring the amazing 200 ft. Banana Split on Sunday, March 30th, 2003. Building starts at 12:30 pm and will take place near the bottom of Eagle Rock and Snow Bird lifts. All children are encouraged to participate in the construction of the 200 ft. Banana Split.

ANNUAL EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA…
Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area will host our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 20th. Come and join the Easter Bunny at 9:00am as the entire downhill ski area becomes one massive Easter Egg Hunt. It will be a free-for-all, so come early. If that was not cool enough, one will be able to find vouchers for lift tickets, equipment rentals, lessons, various items from the retail shop, and a few other goodies within these eggs.
For smaller children ages 8 and under, their will be a special Easter Egg Hunt at our Snowplay Area at the Trout Creek Recreation Center starting at 1:00pm.
