The San Franciscos only synchronized swim club is open to children aged 6 through 14. Those new to synchronized swimming can join the pre-competitive program,which swims twice a week at city pools. After graduating from the pre-competitive program, swimmers join one of the competitive teams based on their age and skill level. All practices are held at city pools. You can observe a practice and/or sign up the first Tuesday of every month at Balboa Pool (Havelock at San Jose Ave.) from 7:30 to 8:30. Blue Waters Kayaking Entering their 18th season Blue Waters continues to offer kayak rentals, lessons and nature tours from their Tomales Bay beach site, paddles in our favorite "quiet water" destinations of Northern California and week-long expeditions to the Pacific Northwest and Baja. New venues this season:Blue Waters Kids Kayaking Camp on Tomales Bay. Blue Waters Kayaking Camp is an amazing fun filled adventure in one of the most beautiful protected territories in Northern California. The days are full of kayaking on Tomales Bay, exploring Point Reyes National Seashore, and swimming, learning knots, telling stories and observing wildlife. The combined experiences of kayaking, environmental education and wilderness camping provide opportunity for team play, confidence building and plenty of fun! It is our hope that through their successes our campers will have a new sense of themselves, each other and how they connect to the natural world that surrounds us.

Ocean Beach - Drive through GGP to the beach. Not a begnners spot unless it is a mellow day... ocean beach has a lot of movement, a lot of rip and currents... be careful. Montara State Beach - Keep driving down Hwy 1. Never surf alone, watch what the waves are doing before going in. Surf Diva Surf School is the world's FIRST all-female surf school. Located in sunny La Jolla (San Diego), CA, the school offers year-round weekend clinics for women. Additionally, private lessons can be requested for co-ed groups and families. Sea Trek Kayak Camps get kids excited about life, themselves and our marine environment. Kayaking for kids programs designed for junior paddlers ages 8 and up. Children in boats within a safe environment is a natural success story.
