We are committed to developing unique opportunities and experiences for individuals to learn about the ocean. Our programs emphasize ocean safety and water awareness. We use this training to instill a healthy love and respect for the water as well as to cultivate a lifelong enthusiasm for the ocean.

Women on Board is happening again... a great site for surfing and finding people to surf with... if you are an intermediate surfer or just a beginner it is important to surf with a buddy to stay safe. The San Francisco’s only synchronized swim club is open to children aged 6 through 14. Those new to synchronized swimming can join the pre-competitive program,which swims twice a week at city pools. After graduating from the pre-competitive program, swimmers join one of the competitive teams based on their age and skill level. All practices are held at city pools. You can observe a practice and/or sign up the first Tuesday of every month at Balboa Pool (Havelock at San Jose Ave.) from 7:30 to 8:30. Blue Waters Kayaking Entering their 18th season Blue Waters continues to offer kayak rentals, lessons and nature tours from their Tomales Bay beach site, paddles in our favorite "quiet water" destinations of Northern California and week-long expeditions to the Pacific Northwest and Baja. New venues this season:Blue Waters Kids Kayaking Camp on Tomales Bay. Blue Water’s Kayaking Camp is an amazing fun filled adventure in one of the most beautiful protected territories in Northern California. The days are full of kayaking on Tomales Bay, exploring Point Reyes National Seashore, and swimming, learning knots, telling stories and observing wildlife. The combined experiences of kayaking, environmental education and wilderness camping provide opportunity for team play, confidence building and plenty of fun! It is our hope that through their successes our campers will have a new sense of themselves, each other and how they connect to the natural world that surrounds us.
Blue Waters Kids Kayak Camp is a 5 day 4 night camping expedition for girls and boys ages 12 to 16. 2003 Camp dates: June 23 to 27, July 21 to 25 and Aug. 11 to 15. Camp Jones Gulch has resident camp programs of campers entering 3-9 grades from June 29 – August 23. Our sport activities are swimming, canoeing, basketball, soccer, softball, volleyball, frisbee, hikes, climbing tower, archery, horseback riding, ping-pong and more. SUMMER SURF CAMP 05 will be posted when available... This camp will focus on the basics of surfing. We wil be an intimate group of eight, camping and enjoying the surf in Santa Cruz. Students will learn ocean safety and awareness, righ-of-way and surf etiquette, basic paddling techniques, paddling into waves and catching them, stand up techniques/stance and takeoff, how to ride down the line/bottom turning, duck-diving/turtling/ how to push through waves and more. SURF (my view) the six hottest spots between San Francisco and Half Moon Bay! Fort Point - Under the GG Bridge...not a beginners spot, watch from above and take notes! Ocean Beach - Drive through GGP to the beach. Not a begnners spot unless it is a mellow day... ocean beach has a lot of movement, a lot of rip and currents... be careful. When it looks small it is still very powerful! The picture above is from Ocean Beach. Before going out, watch what the ocean is doing. Linda Mar - at Pacifica State Beach (Taco Bell?). A great beginners spot, be careful of others, everyone is out having a good time. Respect each other and be nice. Watch what the waves are doing before going out, surprises happen every so often. Hold onto your board when you get caught inside. Take a lesson if you are having a hard time, learn about ocean safety and how to surf from Surf Pacifica! Montara State Beach - Keep driving down Hwy 1. Never surf alone, watch what the waves are doing before going in. 
Mavericks - Past Moss Beach continuing on Hwy 1. Near Princeton, CA! Out near the point! This is not a beginners spot and you should not go out and give it a try. For experts and for strong swimmers only. Be careful... of course! The Jetty- A little further down, near El Granada and before Miramar. The California coast offers more than anyone can imagine. Naturally the hot spots are not listed and never will be! If you are learning to surf be safe and aware of others all the time!
Surf Diva Surf School is the world's FIRST all-female surf school. Located in sunny La Jolla (San Diego), CA, the school offers year-round weekend clinics for women. Marin Horizon Day Camp in Mill Valley is an exciting way for children 3-9 years old to spend their summer! The camp runs for 6 consecutive weeks, from June 23 through August 1. Parents have the choice of 3, 4, or 5 days per week, with a half-day option for 3 year-olds. Stanford Sailing Camp for boys and girls ages 9-15 Directed by Steve Bourdow, Rick Arneson, and Marcella Stauber. Learn to sail! 2003 dates will be posted when available. Kids ages 9-15 can learn sailing and seamanship skills at the Stanford Sailing Center in Redwood City. Our small exciting sailboats and caring well-trained instructors will provide non-stop-on-the-water fun. Summer 2002 sessions will be posted as soon as they are available. Session I: June 19-29 Session II: July 3-13 Session III: July 17-27 and Session IV: July 31-August 10. Tuition for Session I, II, IV is $500 and for Session II $450 (no class on July 4). Sea Trek Kayak Camps "More than just a camp. 2005 dates will be posted when available...Sea Trek Kayak Camps get kids excited about life, themselves and our marine environment. SUMMER KAYAK CAMPS WITH Kayak Connection. Kayaking for kids programs designed for junior paddlers ages 8 and up. Children in boats within a safe environment is a natural success story.
