The goal is to provide for participants a never-to-be-forgotten experience of science and adventure by exploring the idyllic Pacific Coast setting of the Marin Headlands and following the American River through the Central Valley on the way to the breathtaking beauty of Yosemite National Park.

While in Marin Headlands, the participants will hike the ocean side rolling hills, mountain bike on the trails, and explore the Bothin Marsh from their canoes. As they journey to Yosemite, they will experience the thrilling exhilaration of while water rafting. They will wrap up their adventure with hiking and backpacking in Yosemite, one of the most beautiful national parks in the United States.
